What it is
Euclid has 10 short-answer and full-solution questions in 2.5 hours. Younger students may write it.
Top Canadian scorers can win prizes, and there are certificates, medals and honour rolls.
The CEMC says Euclid isn't required for admission to Waterloo Math.
A good fit if: Grade 12 students heading toward math, science or engineering.
How to register
- Students can't register themselves. A teacher orders the contest for the school. If your school doesn't take part, you can ask another local school to let your child write with them.
- Schools must order by March 11, 2027.
